Welcome to my personal webpage!

I am currently working at SES as a software engineer developing code to optimally allocate resources in O3b mPOWER, a constellation of 11 satellites to be launched in late 2021 and early 2022.

Between 2015 and 2020, I was a PhD candidate working in the System Architecture Lab under the supervision Prof. Ed Crawley at MIT. During my PhD I developed tools and models that aid system designers during the system architecting process. In particular, my research focused on extending global broadband by using spacial and aerial platforms: satellites in geostationary, medium and low Earth orbit; high altitude platforms such as UAVs and ballons; and tethered low altitude platforms. For each of these concepts, I developed end-to-end system models that included RF propagation, atmospheric channel, link budget, power and mass sizing, system dynamics, and costs. Moreover, I used Bayesian Optimization to determine the optimal architecture(s) in terms of performance and cost.

This webpage is meant to be a summary of my past and present research, that I will update every now and then. If you feel our interests align in any way, feel free to shoot me an email.

Here is a PDF version of my CV and you can also chek my LinkedIn and Google Scholar.
