I build control plane software for distributed systems at Google's Global Network team, focusing on Software Defined Networking (SDN), traffic engineering, and high-performance data pipelines at planetary scale. Before joining Google, I received my PhD from MIT in 2020, where I researched system architectures for global broadband connectivity.
About
Welcome to my personal webpage! I am currently a Staff Software Engineer at Google, where I work on the Global Network team building control plane software for distributed systems. My work focuses on Software Defined Networking (SDN), traffic engineering, and high-performance data pipelines at planetary scale.
Between 2015 and 2020, I was a PhD candidate working in the System Architecture Lab under the supervision of Prof. Ed Crawley at MIT. During my PhD I developed tools and models that aid system designers during the system architecting process. In particular, my research focused on extending global broadband using spatial and aerial platforms: satellites in geostationary, medium and low Earth orbit; high altitude platforms such as UAVs and balloons; and tethered low altitude platforms.
This webpage is a summary of my past and present work. If you feel our interests align, feel free to reach out by email or on LinkedIn.
